I’m Atish Kumar, a retired Indian Forest Service officer with an illustrious career spanning over 35 years. My journey has taken me from the dense forests of Odisha to the hallowed halls of international training programs in Japan and the USA. As a dedicated steward of our natural resources, I’ve donned many hats—from Assistant Conservator to Director at the prestigious Forest Ranger College.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to nurture and train the next generation of forest guardians, lead vital forestry divisions, and implement innovative techniques in forest management. My expertise lies in forest fire mitigation, community engagement, and the sustainable development of fragile ecosystems.

But my story doesn’t end with retirement. Today, I’m passionate about sharing my vast reservoir of knowledge and experiences through various platforms. Beyond my professional endeavors, I channel my creative spirit into singing on social media under the name *Atish Sangeet*. Music is my soul’s expression, and I love connecting with audiences through my melodies.
